Welcome to Dover Little Green Cheerleading!
Dover Little Green Cheerleading is a non profit youth sports program that operates under the umbrella of the Dover Parks and Recreation Department. DLGC accepts athletes in grades 1 through 8 from within the Dover School District , including St. Marys Academy, and from surrounding towns ( only when no program being offered there).
We strive to provide a positive team orientated atmosphere led by certified youth coaches who are knowledgeable in this fast growing and competitive sport. As the official feeder program for the Dover High School Cheerleading Program we work closely with the High School coaches to prepare our athletes for successful partipation in the DHS programs.
DLGC is a community based program and as such all our teams give back by planning and participating in a community service event. Our teams support the Dover Little Green Football and the Dover Youth Football programs during their seasons and then go on to compete locally and regionally.

Youth Cheerleading Assistant Coaches Needed!
We are still looking to fill assistant coaching positions in our program. Please contact the league coordinator Brittany Hartman at brittanynh@yahoo.com, if you are interested. Experience in cheerleading or coaching youth sports is helpful but not required. All coaching positions are volunteer and a commitment to attending all practices, games and competitions is required. Coaching youth sports is one of the most rewarding volunteer activities you will ever be involved in!
