Dover Baseball is a non-profit organization that was formed in 2002 from the merger of Dover Minor League, Dover Northside Cal Ripken, and Dover Babe Ruth. The league was formed with the goal of building a quality baseball program to allow children to play baseball from the age of 4 to the age of 15.

A major factor in the success of Dover Baseball has been the support of the local business community. It is the generosity of our sponsors that has allowed Dover Baseball to provide a fun and competitive baseball program for over 600 children and teenagers each year.

As we enter our 10th year of baseball operations, we are asking for your support by becoming a sponsor for the 2012 baseball season

In addition to Baseball Appreciation Day, Dick's Sporting Goods has become a new Dover Baseball Sponsor and has agreed to donate a number of team equipment kits for this upcoming baseball season.

For 4-8 year olds here is a guide for registering them in the correct division

 baseball ages for the season are your childs age as of april 30th 2012

4 - year olds need to be placed in the tee-ball division

5 - year olds should be placed into tee-ball if this is their 1st baseball season

5 - year olds who did tee-ball last season can either do it again or move up to the coach pitch Instructional division

6 -  year olds need to register for the Coach Pitch Instructional division

7- year olds need to choose between the Coach Pitch Instructional division and the Kids Pitch Small Minor Division

traditionaly less than half of 7 year olds are ready for live pitching/hitting from other kids

**The Small Minor Division has assessments april 1st at the High School gym times listed below**

8 - year olds need to register for the Small Minor Division, 8 year olds will not be considered to play at any other level

Saturday June 9th -  End of the Regular season for all Cal Ripken Divisions

Monday June 11th - Playoffs Begin

Saturday June 16th - End of Season !!!!
