Along with two State Championship rings, 2012 and 2013,  the Region II-4A, upper state, Spartanburg County  championships in the 152-pound class........Will was named, SHJ "Wrestler of the Year."    Will was also named to the "All Academic" Team.

Congratulations to Will Thomas and Christian Maroni  who both won State Championships today.   Will Thomas became the first Dorman wrestler to ever win two State Chamionships!

The Wreslting team lost in their quest for a State Championship to Rock Hill tonight 37-27. This was the first time the Cavalier wrestling team had ever made it to the third round (final 8) of the state wrestling play-offs.

Dorman set a personal record qualifing 12 wrestlers for the Upper State Tournament Feb 15 -16th,

The 2012-13 Dorman Wrestling Team soared today!  They traveled to Lugoff Elgin HS to begin the playoffs and........they defeated Greenwood High School 54-18 in Playoff Round !, then they faced Lugoff Elgin who defeated Northwestern in Round 1.   Dorman stole the show, defeating Lugoff Elgin 37-33 and is moving on!

Tonight was "senior night" and the Senior Cavaliers celebrated their last regular season home match with a big win over visiting Spartanburg HS.   Prior to the match, senior members of the Dorman team were recognized by representatives from the District Office, Daryl Owings, Principal Ken Kaiser, Athletic Director Flynn Harrell for their contribution to the Dorman wrestling program during their years of participation.    Seniors were recognized along with their parents and favorite teacher.
