2012 DOLTON BEARS
WELCOME TO THE 2012 SEASON OF THE DOLTON BEARS YOUTH FOOTBALL& CHEERLEADING PROGRAM.
REGISTRATION FOR THE DOLTON BEARS PROGRAM IS ON-LINE .
THE PROGRAMS REGISTRATION FEE IS $180.00 FOR FOOTBALL AND $315.00 FOR CHEERLEADERS.
THE SEASON STARTS WITH THE FIRST DAY OF REGULAR SEASON PRACTICE ON MONDAY JULY 30, 2012
PRACTICES WILL BE HELD AT DOLTON PARK FROM 5:30PM UNTIL 7:30PM MONDAY THRU FRIDAY, FOR THE 1ST 3 WEEKS, AFTER AUGUST PRACTICE WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, THURSDAY, & FRIDAY FROM 5:30PM UNTIL 7:30PM UNTIL THE SEASON ENDS.
THE DOLTON BEARS HOST A SUMMER FOOTBALL & CHEERLEADERS CAMP, WHICH IS OPTIONAL FOR PARTICIPANTS.
CHEERLEADERS CAMP WILL BE HELD ON SUNDAYS FROM 2PM UNTIL 4PM (THERE WILL BE NO CAMP ON SUNDAY JUNE 17TH AND JULY 1ST).
THE SUMMER FOOTBALL CAMP WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAYS ONLY & RUNS FOR 6 SESSIONS!!!!
SUMMER CAMP: BEGINS ON SATURDAY JUNE 9TH & ENDS ON SATURDAY JULY 21ST
(THERE WILL BE NO CAMP ON SATURDAY JUNE 30TH)
DOLTON BEARS CHEERLEADERS REGISTRATION INCLUDES:
TWO COMPETITIONS, CAMP, CAMP GEAR & TEAM ACCESSORY PACKAGE EXAMPLE.... SHOES, SOCK, HAIR BOWS, HOMECOMING AND PEP RALLY GEAR, COMPETITION GEAR, PARTY AND END OF THE YEAR CELERATION.
TWO COMPETITIONS, CAMP, CAMP GEAR & TEAM ACCESSORY PACKAGE EXAMPLE.... SHOES, SOCK, HAIR BOWS, HOMECOMING AND PEP RALLY GEAR, COMPETITION GEAR, PARTY AND END OF THE YEAR CELERATION.
DOLTON BEAR FOOTBALL PLAYERS WILL BE ISSUED THE FOLLOWING:
FOOTBALL HELMET, HELMET MOUTHPIECE, FOOTBALL SHOULDER PADS, & GAME JERSEY.
THESE ITEMS MUST BE RETURNED AT THE END OF THE SEASON, EXCEPT THE MOUTHPIECE!!!!
REGISTRATION FEE ALSO COVERS:
SECONDARY INSURANCE FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS, REFEREE GAME FEES, ALONG WITH PRACTICE & GAME EQUIPMENT COSTS.
FOOTBALL PLAYERS WILL ALSO NEED THE FOLLOWING TO PARTICIPATE FOR THE SEASON:
PRACTICE JERSEY, BLACK FOOTBALL PADDED PANTS (TO BE USED FOR PRACTICE & GAMES),
FOOTBALL SHOES (MOLDED CLEATS ONLY—NO METAL SPIKES – NO SCREW ON CLEATS)
THE DOLTON BEARS PARTICIPATE IN THE SOUTHWEST MIDGET FOOTBALL LEAGUE AND,
THE FOOTBALL SEASON STARTS WITH PRESEASON GAMES ON AUGUST 20TH, &
THE FIRST REGULAR SEASON GAMES ON SATURDAY AUGUST 27TH & THE SEASON RUNS TO MID NOVEMBER.
THE SOUTHWEST LEAGUE WEIGH INS ARE HELD TWICE DURING THE SEASON & ALL FOOTBALL PARTICIPANTS MUST ATTEND & BE WEIGHED IN BY THE LEAGUE OFFICIALS.
PLAYERS NOT IN ATTENDANCE AT WEIGH INS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY DURING THE SEASON
& THERE WILL BE NO REGISTRATION FEES REFUNDED.
WE HAVE GONE TO DAYTONA BEACH FLORIDA FOR 4 YEARS (2003 THRU 2007) AND LAS VEGAS NEVADA IN (2008), ALONG WITH RETURNING TO DAYTONA BEACH IN 2009, AND 2010 EACH YEAR WE HAVE TAKEN CLOSE TO 100 PLAYERS TO THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS.
THE DOLTON BEARS VARSITY FOOTBALL TEAM IS (4) TIME NATIONAL CHAMPIONS (2006, 2007, 2008, & 2009)
THE 2007 PEE-WEE TEAM WAS 2007 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS, & BLACK LITES TEAM WAS 2010 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS. DOLTON BEARS CHEERLEADERS WERE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS IN SPIRIT AND DANCE FOR (2006,2007,2008,2009, & 2010) IN ADDITION OUR GIRLS PLACE IN THREE LOCATION COMPETITION
WE LOOK FORWARD TO A GREAT SEASON IN 2012 & WELCOME ALL POSITIVE FEEDBACK, AS WELL AS ANY & ALL ASSISTANCE FROM PARENTS.
