A combination of pitching machine/coach soft toss, allowing for players to master the skill of hitting a moving ball Blastball Ages 4-7, Blastball is similar to T-ball, only we include noise-making bases! Rookie A combination of pitching machine/coach's pitch/players pitch. LL'ers begin to learn the basics of pitching while keeping the game interesting for the fielders! Minors Fully integrated player pitching, playing on the 46/60 diamond configuration. This is a middle step to accommodate players who excel in Rookie, keeping the Major level 11/12 year olds exclusively. Majors This is the highlight division of Little League Baseball. Broadcast every year on ESPN, the Little League World Series is a MAJOR sporting event at the International level. Juniors Moving up to the 54/80 diamond configuration and playing post-season at a full 60/90 this is a BIG step in baseball. Lead-offs and pitcher pick-offs are new skills that need to be mastered. New this year: composite metal bats will NOT be permitted at the Junior level. Seniors After hitting that 'growth' period in their lives, these players are bigger, stronger, faster, and it shows on the diamond. Big League Looking to play baseball in a post-secondary institution? These are the players have something to prove. This is youth baseball at its finest, and we in D3 have the hardware to prove it... a World Series title in 2000!! The ONLY team to win a youth sports international title in Canada! Senior/Big A team in between Seniors and Big League that allows for players that are 19 to play a final year under LL rules. 19 year olds are not eligible for post-season play, and there is no post-season at the Sr-Big level. |
