Dewey Seminoles 19U Majors: Welcome

Wednesday, May 26

The Dewey Seminoles, an American Legion 19U Majors baseball team, will be playing Summer 2010 baseball against similar caliber teams in the NE Oklahoma area.   Their schedule consists of 4 tournament weekends, 18 home games against 8 different opponents played either at our home field (Dewey HS) or our satelite field (Nowata HS), and 14 games away against the the same 8 opponents in the months of June & July (subject to weather). Schedule will be shown below.

The Dewey Seminoles are a balanced group of competitive and talented players from Dewey, Oolagah, Copan, Nowata, and Skiatook focused on winning and teamwork. OUR #1 GOAL IS TO HAVE FUN AND PREPARE EACH PLAYER FOR A SUCCESSFUL COLLEGE BASEBALL CAREER. Practices will also be listed below on this website.

Please feel free to look around our website, sign the guestbook, and visit our sponsor’s page. A big thank you goes out to all those sponsors that have helped our team in many ways in the past.

INTENSITY > You Wanna Be A Competitor? Best Live it!

Dear Team,

Let's live, breathe, eat, sleep, and play with INTENSITY.
From the time we step onto the field, whether in practice, pregame, or gametime (both in the dugout and on the field); we must possess intensity - it is a critical element for reaching our ultimate goal. Be thinking of ways you prepare yourself mentally before and during a game and come to practice prepared to share it with your team.

Also, let's make a personal comittment to work hard and keep our eye on our primary focus: A winning and fun-filled Summer baseball team.

As we journey through the Summer, keep in mind, a strong finish can have greater value than a strong beginning.

See you at practices and games. Go Seminoles!
