Dewey Humboldt Little League has teamed up with the Arizona Diamondbacks for an amazing fundraiser! The Diamondbacks have set aside a block of tickets to their game against the Washington Nationals on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 5:10pm for Dewey Humboldt Little League. The face value price of each ticket is $15, but we are selling the tickets at $13 each. Each team will receive an order form for the tickets, and the team that sells the most tickets will win a special prize - to be announced at Opening Ceremonies!

This particular game on May 9th is a special "Little League Day" at Chase Field. On Little League Day, all Little League players present at the game have the great opportunity to be part of a parade ON THE FIELD during the game!

Let's all pitch in and sell as many tickets as we can! We know that money is tight for many right now, but it would only cost $52 for a family of 4 to enjoy a day of baseball at Chase Field. Don't forget you can bring your own food into the park, saving you money on food! Plus, how cool will it be to tell all your friends and family how your kid got to be down on the field with all of your favorite D'Backs players?!

Don't worry it is not too late to register.  You can register up until March 7th.  You can stop by the Farm Bureau Financial office and register.  Please bring a copy of your childs birth certificate and the fee is $65.00.  We will be doing registration on March 7th at tryouts.  We do not know where yet but will announce as soon as we get it confirmed.  If you have any questions please feel free to call me at 928-533-0878 or email me at Ekarbear33@aol.com.

Kara Gallegos-Dewey/Humboldt Little League

Hope everyone is having a good season so far.  We have really received some great comments from Prescott Valley parents regarding how much they are enjoying playing in Dewey?humboldt.  Thanks to all you parents and players who have done such a great job so far this year making the other districts feel excited to come and play us.  I know that we had to cancel some games last week due to the freezing weather.  We will be looking at when we can make those games up and will let you know when those days are.
