Welcome Message

Who Are We? We are the Detroit Titans Athletic Association, a non-profit all volunteer youth football and cheerleading program.
This chapter of the Southeast Michigan Pop Warner Football League was found in the 1999. Mr. Keith Lenton is the current President of the Detroit Titans Youth Athletic Association. Since the inception of the Titan organization, more than 1,600 children between the ages of 5 and 15 have participated in our football and cheer programs. We average about 200 children per year.

Our purpose is to enable children to benefit from participation in team sports and activities in a safe and structured environment. The Detroit Titans Youth Athletic Association also teach fundamental values, skills and knowledge that children will use throughout their lives. Our primary focus is to provide youth with encouragement and guidance for achievement. We cultivate and instill integrity, character, academic focus and improved decision making skills. We also, adhere to strict academic guidelines that must be met in order for a child to participate.
Welcome New & Returning Titans Dear Detroit Titans Parents & Team Mates!

Let me take this time to formally welcome you and your child to The Detroit Titans Youth Athletic Association. We are excited about the opportunity to get to know you and looking forward to having you as apart of the Titan family. As we continue to develop strategies designed to improve our football teams and cheer/dance squads, we look forward to expanding and strengthening our partnership with parents and the community, this is key. Despite our growing list of successes, we know that there is still much to be done. By working together and using all available resources, we can move closer to achieving our goals for this 2008 season.

As the season progresses, we will try our best to keep you informed on any and all relevant information, such as: equipment and uniform distribution dates, weigh-in times, practice times and locations, game schedules, transportation car pools, certification dates, registration document deadline dates and much more. We will try to keep everyone informed through hand written newsletters, emails, parent and team meetings and on-line web-site Updates. We encourage you to stay informed by visiting our web-site often.   Once again, thank you for considering the Detroit Titans Youth Athletic Association as your youth football and cheerleading program. I hope you will make it a priority this year to attend as many games and events and get invoved to help us reach the stars!
