Denver Jr Bassmasters: Welcome

Thank you for visiting othe registration website of the Denver Jr Bassmasters. We are excited for the new year and all the fishing and fellowship opportunities it brings. While we have a new format to our outings, we are excited to welcome all kids ages 8 to 18 who have an interest in bass fishing. So bring a pole, Bring a friend, and lets have some fun!!!

New for 2012 Season!!!!! 

Due to the the amount of interest in our club we are automating the registration process. All registrations will be done online from now on. There will be a registration fee added to the club dues. Total $43.95. All Club Dues, Fundraising, donations go back to the kids for thier shirts, hats, fishing gear. Nothing is left over at the end of the year!

New registration and forms will be updated shortly so check back!

All attendees must register, fill out waiver and pay memebership dues before March 30 2012. Anyone who is not a member may not fish private properties or the state tournement.

Scholarships 

We understand that the economy has been tough on everyone. However we will not turn any child away that wants to fish with us. If you need assistance with the club dues, please contact us for a private and confidential discussion.

ABOUT THE DENVER JR BASSMASTERS

The Denver Jr. Bassmasters was the first youth club west of the Mississippi and as part of a grass roots inititive by Bass Anglers Sportsmans Society (B.A.S.S) The Denver Jr. Bassmasters was created by the Denver Bassmasters for the sole purpose of reaching out to Colorado's youth and expose them to bass fishing and the outdoors. Furthermore, DJBM is ran solely by the Denver Bassmasters, volunteers, parents, and mentors. Who want to share time and knowledge with the kids and is hopeful that maybe just one thought, one inspiration, one bit of experienced shared with the kids will somehow make them better prepared to take on life's challenges.

Our Format

1. 6 outings a year. We teach the fundementals of Bass fishing, sportsmanship and fellowship.

2. NEW FOR 2012!!! Denver Jr Bassmasters who want to compete for a spot on the club team will be able to weigh fish at the lake side or boat side for points. These mini tournements will be 1/2 day tournements with the rest of the scheduled day as free fishing. Also included will be points awarded for our fundraising and conservation events as well.

3. State Championship: Kids ages 11-18 compete on bass boats for a chance to qualify and fish with the CO B.A.S.S. Federation Nation state team. 2 kids from the two age groups will compete with the adults.

4. Qualify through divisionals and have a chance to fish in the Jonior World Championship. Where you will compete for a full rigged Truck, Boat and Scholarships!!!

 DJM is not a boys club. It is a youth club. We welcome all kids to join us and enjoy the experience. If you have someone who might be interested feel free to contact me.
