AIDS Awareness Walk

OUR  "SHOOTING STARS" CHEERED ON THE WALKERS  FOR AIDS AWARENESS  -

Our "Shooting Stars" follow the motto of our postal workers. "Neither rain, nor sleet, nor gloom of night will keep me from my appointed rounds."  Well that now our "Stars" felt as they joined thousands of walkers this past Sunday at Rockford Park for the walk for AIDS awareness.  They were active participates in the attempt to set the world record for the longest "awareness ribbon".  Although the condition was soggy the team cheered the walkers on at the start of the event and were there to greet them as they finished. We really had a good time and look forward to be asked back next year.  "GO STARS"
