Health South Wins Semi-Pro Championship
.Health South Sweeps the C. Wallace team in 4. Health South goes from barely squeaking in the play-offs with a 14 and 14 record, to take home the Delaware Semi-pro championship title. Health South walked through the Semi's and the championship round, while only losing on game enroute to the championship. A balanced attack of hitting and pitching proved to be the key for Doc Warrington and his crew. Congrats, and we will see you again next year. Great Season!

Mike Donovan has been on Fire! He has hit 5 home runs in the first three games of the Delaware Semi Pro Play Offs. Hot offense has been the key for Health South who won the third game of the best of seven. Final Score, 8 - 3. Health South takes a first two games of the series against C.Wallace.
Mike Donovan hits game winning Homerun in Bottom of the 7th inning

Health South found themselves down 5 - 0 in the sixth inning against a potent C. Wallace Line up. Mike "Gooch" Donovan hit a solo home run in the sixth inning to make the score 5 to 1 in favor of C. Wallace. Matt Donavan comes in to pitch the 7th inning and position changes were made by coach "Doc" Warrington. Doc took out his starting third basemen and put himself in the hot corner. C. Wallace threatened with two men on in the 6th when a hard hit ball , that was meant for the outfield , never made it past the diving glove of Doc Warrington. Three outs, and the Health South team is still down by 4 runs going in to the 7th inning.
Health south get two guys on and Doc Warrington sends the pitch over the left field wall to bring his team within one run in the bottom of the inning. C. Wallace holding on to a one run lead. Health South gets the next batter on base. Now with two outs in the last inning, Mike Donovan connects for his game winning 2 run home run to beat C. Wallace.
Health South takes a two game to zero lead over C. Wallace.
