Delavan Darien Youth Wrestling: My Site News

The DD Youth Wrestling Club had 14 wrestlers compete at the Kenosha Regional Tournament on March 9, 2012.  There are 4 wrestlers that qualified and 1 alternate for the State Tournament on March 23 - 24, 2012 in Madison WI.

Good Luck to the wrestlers this weekend in Madison!  We hope to have a State Champ (or 4!!) to announce next week!

The next tournament for the DDYWC will be this Saturday, January 14, 2012 at East Troy HS.  This is a walk-up registration tournament, with weigh-ins and registration starting at 7:30 a.m.

If your wrestler will be attending any tournaments through the months of January and February, please be sure to check off those tournaments he is participating in on the roster in the wrestling room (next to the cage door).

Practices will start on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 5:30!!  Meet in the DDHS Wrestling Room - in the balcony area of the small Gym.

younger kids practice 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

older kids practice 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

For those that are in need to wrestling shoes, the club has some that people have donated for use - sizes are varied, there will be a box of shoes available to look at throughout the first few weeks of practice.
