Major Nationals 4-Peat

The Major Delaney Park Nationals captured their 4th consecutive league championship after a winning 3 straight league games.

Juniors Win District 24 Tournament of Champions

Congratulations to the 2009 District 24 Junior Baseball Tournament of Champions. 

 The Juniors started the tournament with a 12-2 victory over the East Orange American team.  Next up was the Union Park National team.  Delaney Park won 15-5.  The team completed pool play with a victory over Azalea Park.  That victory gave the team the number one seed in the pool.

 The East Orange National team was the semi-final opponent.  Delaney Park won 14-3 to advance to the finals against the Defending District Champions from North Orlando Kiwanis (NOK) Little League.

The championship game was played at Baldwin Park on Tuesday June 9th.  It was a hard fought game that came down to the final out in the bottom of the 7th inning. Delaney Park prevailed 6-5.

Congratulations to the following players who will represent Delaney Park at the District 24 All-Star tournament.  The tournament will be held at Union Park and Goldenrod Little Leagues beginning on June 29th.  Games are listed on the calendar.

9/10 Baseball Team

Cameron Bartelt, Austin Coble, Connor Eakins, Matthew Fluke, Grant Galy, Jack Johnson, Tyler Herndon, Kevin O'Kane, Kian Paymayesh, Davis Pittenger, Matthew Powell, Sean Walsh and RJ Woodall.  Manager - Bobby Coble, Coaches - Matt O'Kane and Alan Galy.

10/11 Baseball Team

11/12 All Stars Take NOK To Extra Inning

Tied 3-3 at the end of 6 innings, the All Stars went to the 7th inning but came up short against NOK losing 3-4 in the bottom of the 7th inning.  Congratulations on a great All Star run.

Junior All Stars Advance To Finals

Junior All Stars Advance To Finals 

In the first All Star game hosted at a Delaney Park Field, the Junior team defeated the East Orange American team 6-1 to advance to the District 24 Finals against Azalea Park.  The game is scheduled to be played on July 15th at 6:30pm at Dover Shores.  The Dover Shores field is at the corner of Curry Ford Road and Gaston Foster Road.

Junior All Stars Advance To District 5 Sectionals
2009 District 24 Champions

District 24 Champions!

The Junior Baseball Team defeated Azalea Park 14-3 to bring home the league's first District 24 Championship.  The rain delayed game was completed on July 16th at Dover Shores field.  Resuming play in the top of the 2nd inning with a 2-0 lead, Delaney Park scored 3 more runs to take a 5-0 lead.  Azalea Park scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 2nd inning to bring the score to 5-3.  After that it was all Delaney Park scoring 9 unanswered runs. 

The team now advances to the Section 5 Tournament held at St Cloud Little League July 24, 25 and 26.  Games will be played against

District 23 Champion - Maitland Little League - 6pm on Friday July 24th

District 3 Champion - Pinecastle Little League - 12pm on Saturday July 25th

District 14 Champion - Winter Garden Little League - 1pm on Sunday July 26th

The combined team advances to the Section 5 Tournament July 17, 18 and 19 at Apopka Little League.  Representing Delaney Park on the team is Julia Bonnewitz.
