11/12 All Star Team Advances to Semi Finals

11/12 All Stars Perfect in Pool Play

Congratulations to the 11/12 All Star team who completed Pool Play with a perfect 4-0 record.  The team defeated Winter Park, Azalea Park, Union Park National and East Orange American to advance to the semi-finals on Monday, July 13th at 5:30pm.

Congratulations to the following players who will represent Delaney Park at the District 24 All-Star tournament.  The tournament will be held at Union Park and Goldenrod Little Leagues beginning on June 29th.  Games are listed on the calendar.

9/10 Baseball Team

Cameron Bartelt, Austin Coble, Connor Eakins, Matthew Fluke, Grant Galy, Jack Johnson, Tyler Herndon, Kevin O'Kane, Kian Paymayesh, Davis Pittenger, Matthew Powell, Sean Walsh and RJ Woodall.  Manager - Bobby Coble, Coaches - Matt O'Kane and Alan Galy.

10/11 Baseball Team

Participating on a combined All Star Team with NOK and Azalea Park Little Leagues are Julia Bonnewitz, Karli Cheek and Emily Matthews.

Major Nationals 4-Peat

The Major Delaney Park Nationals captured their 4th consecutive league championship after a winning 3 straight league games.

Friday, June 12
Juniors Win District 24 Tournament of Champions

Congratulations to the 2009 District 24 Junior Baseball Tournament of Champions. 

 The Juniors started the tournament with a 12-2 victory over the East Orange American team.  Next up was the Union Park National team.  Delaney Park won 15-5.  The team completed pool play with a victory over Azalea Park.  That victory gave the team the number one seed in the pool.

 The East Orange National team was the semi-final opponent.  Delaney Park won 14-3 to advance to the finals against the Defending District Champions from North Orlando Kiwanis (NOK) Little League.

The championship game was played at Baldwin Park on Tuesday June 9th.  It was a hard fought game that came down to the final out in the bottom of the 7th inning. Delaney Park prevailed 6-5.

Delaney Park Little League, located in downtown Orlando participates in District 24 with College Park, North Orlando Kiwanis, Winter Park, Union Park, Goldenrod, Azalea Park and East Orange Little Leagues.  The league has fields at Delaney Park, Lake Como Elementary School, Blankner School and Dover Shores.
