Deerfield Beach Little League: 2009 Regular Season Divisions
Coach Pitch division or "Farm League" is a non-competitive, instructional division for 7 and 8 year olds.
Minor League
The Minor League division is an instructional feeder division for the Major League division. Ages 9 to 12 develop and improve their skills in an instructional environment until such time as the players are selected for a Major League team.
Major League
The Major League division is a competitive division for ages 9 to 12. The skill levels and competitiveness of play are above that of the Minor Leagues.
Junior League
Junior League division is a highly competitive division well above that of the Minor or Major Leagues. Only 13 and 14 year olds may be selected for the Junior Leagues, which is played on the full size 90' base diamond.
Senior League
Senior League Divison is a highly competitive league for 14, 15 and 16 year olds. Played on a 90' base diamond, the skill and competitiveness is well above all lower levels of play.
