The De Anza Strykers is a Class I soccer team for girls born after 7/31/91. The Strykers played U19 last year to allow its seniors to finish and was a semi-finalist in State Cup. After the departure of the seniors, the team reformed at U18 by adding very strong younger players coming over from existing CYSA Class 1 Division 1 and NorCal premier teams. Coach of the Strykers is Bob Joyce, who trained the 4-time state champion De Anza Sharks. De Anza Youth Soccer League is based in Cupertino, CA and is considered part of CYSA North.

Strykers Commit to Colleges!
LL and NS have already played a year in college for Sac State and Chapman College, respectively. 2008 Stryker grads committed to college soccer programs include BH to Santa Clara, KR to Michigan, LC and CK to UoP, SF to SJSU, SJ to Davis, JS to Brandeis University and AC to UCSB. TG committed to Cal Poly while still a Stryker but then moved to another team. Congrats and good luck, girls.
