Selected as one of Top 33 2012 Pre-Season GHVCA volleyball players. This list of girls will be showcased in Vype Magazine that comes out in August. This is HUGE honor for Gabbi to be included on the list of majority seniors at the 5A level. The pool of athletes was around 1400. This will also make the second year in a row that Dawson has had an athlete selected for this awesome accomplishment. From the list you will also see that there is a very good representation of Pearland HS as well. Very exciting for our district. Great job Gabbi!

NCAA academic reform was approved in October 2011 - Highlights for High School Athletes
Academic core course requirements have INCREASED.
Class of 2015 and beyond, D1 students must have 2.3 core GPA(increased from 2.0) along with SAT/ACT Score.The NEW Sliding scale for SAT/ACT will also soon be approved with higher test scores required. 10 of the 16 core required.
