Tee-Ball/Coach Pitch(Baseball)
Tee-Ball/Coach Pitch is an instructional league for boys and girls between the ages of five(5) and eight(8). Any child interested in learning the fundamentals of baseball or softball would start in this division. Minors(Baseball) The baseball minors division is for those children who have had some experience playing baseball and are betweent the ages of eight(8) and ten(10). West Little League would like players entering into this division to have at least one year of coach pitch experience prior to entering the minor league. Majors(Baseball) The baseball majors division is open to baseball players between the ages of ten(10) to twelve(12). This league is for experienced players and it is the policy of West Davenport Little League that a player have a least one year of coach pitch or minors play experience prior to entering a major league team. Although this is not mandatory, if a player has not played on a coach pitch team or minors team, the player will need to attend the tryout and drafting process to insure that the player will be able to safely play on a major league team.
