Fusion Coaching Staff Ready To Take On New Challenge
With a new year upon us, the coaching staff of the Fusion has decided to add a new challenge for themselves. That challenge comes in the creation of a new under 9 girls team. Coach Dave and Coach Kwame have always talked about taking a team from a young age and developing them right from the start. When asked about taking on a second team Coach Dave had this to say "It's a challenge that I have always been interested in taking on. Kwame and I have always taken weaker skilled teams and turned them around. Now we are going to try to start a team from a young age and develop them to the elite level. These girls will be given all the opportunities our past teams were given and should have an advantage as they will receive proper training right from the start of their rep careers. I am extremely excited to get started working with these young ladies." If the past success of the Fusion 91's is any indicator, the Fusion 97's will have a great chance at being successful at the highest soccer levels possible.
