U14's Show promise at the KOT

The U14 Junior High group, who like the JV continue to be exciting and show great promise, went 1 for 3 with a slow start against the Peninsula Seahawks. They then rebounded strongly with a win vs Marin but fell in the final game vs a strong and experienced San Diego team.

Rugby Hits Danville- A Glorious Night

What a scene!  Over 400 people came out to watch effectivily the first youth Rugby matches ever played in Danville. With 2 fields going simultaniously at the MSC complex, the environment was electric.  In the first game, Danville played a hard fought match but lost in the last half to Dixon 20 to 15. This was a hard fought match and much was learned. On the Upper pitch The Islanders from Sacramento went ahead of the Diablo group with a hard fought game attack.

In the second round, Danville played the Islanders missing some key players.  The skillful veteran Islander team let their skill and ability show as they scored 4 trys in the first halve. This was a great night for Youth Rugby and Rugby in Danville. We would like to thank first Mustang Soccer and Fred Wilson for all his help for the facility adjustments and the players, coaches, families and fans that came out.
