DRSC is affiliated with the South Coast Soccer League (SCSL), which covers all of Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket and also in our area the SCSL includes towns of Norton to Fall River, New Bedford and Dartmouth. The SCSL (and DRSC) are part of the MYSA Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association)and participate within the MTOC League. MTOC is the Massachusetts Tournament of Champions and SCSL Division Winners from divisions U11 and up participate in a statewide championship tournament in June.

DRSC has had several past SCSL Division and State level MTOC champions.

SCSL is a competitive travel league, with teams from U8 through U18.
Some age groups have Division 1 and Division 2 teams. Where there are a large
number of teams, SCSL may also have an East and West geographical breakdowns
(East and West Divisions).

DRSC Teams are selected through tryouts or other means such as natural
registration of players that make up one or more teams. Placement on a team is
not guaranteed. Cost is determined by SCSL team registration fees, equipment
needs and referee payments. Players must also purchase a travel uniform and
most teams will also participate in winter indoor leagues as a warm up for
spring and to enhance team play in a competitive environment. Indoor fees are
at cost.

DRSC participation fees are reviewed each year and are reflected on the
DRSC registration form.

The DRSC eight game season starts in early April and runs through early June. Games are played on Saturday and Sunday. As noted above, there is State Tournament for Division Winners (U11 and up) and season end local tournaments for U10 and below.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR PARENTS TO HELP WITH OUR U-7 PROGRAM AS COACHES, REFEREES ETC. WE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE BOYS AND GIRLS TEAMS IN THE U-8 AGEGROUP NEXT SPRING. SOCCER EXPERIENCE IS ALWAYS HELPFUL BUT NOT NECESSARY. DIGHTON-REHOBOTH SOCCER CLUB WILL HELP PARENTS TO GO TO BEGINNER SOCCER COACHING COURSES THAT ARE AVAILABLE LOCALLY.
