 American Field Needs You!

Bring shovels and rakes to American Field this Saturday from 8am to 11am to help with prepping the field for regular season play. Tony Widmer has been doing an excellent job of keeping the fields clean and green, but we need to get some field help to get the details up to par. Base paths need cleaning, bullpens need weeding, fence lines need weeding.

Please plan on volunteering some time with us on Saturday morning, Feb 13th from 8am to 11am and invite as many of your friends, team parents, or relatives as you can to come out an help. The more help we can get out there the easier the job will be. Please bring yard tools and weed whackers if you have them.

Tryouts have been completed and player results have been tabulated. It's time to get going with our 2010 season!

We are excited to announce that we have enough young players to introduce a Minor Farm Division this year.  Minor Farm will provide an excellent stepping stone to the more competitive Minor Division and will provide the younger, but experienced PC and T-ball, players the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of pitching to each other, catching for the pitcher, base stealing and hitting from player pitchers in a less competitive environment.   

For the 2010 season we are pleased to announce that Drall will consist of:
  • 4 Major division teams
  • 5 Minor division teams
  • 4 Minor Farm division teams
  • 5 PC division teams
Managers have been selected.  For the Major and Minor division managers we will be conducting a draft for teams this weekend.  For Farm and PCs player agents will be creating teams in the next few days. By early next week the process of communicating team assignments to the players and families will begin with practice beginning immediately thereafter.
