Dr. Phillips Little League: Safety
Dr. Phillips Little League participates in ASAP (A Safety Awareness Program). We constantly monitor for safe conditions around our league, and actively pursue corrections to any potential safety hazards. We ask all participants to fill out an accident report form, no matter how minor, when an accident does occur. These forms are used to help us determine what we can do to make things safer. The accident report forms can be found on the little league web site here.
Full face guards are required on batting helmets in the southern and minor baseball divisions. There are two options: the cage and
clear plastic IPro
A C-flap is recommended as a minimum at all levels.
Managers and Team Safety Officers should check out the ASAP newsletter each month. You can find them here.
