should last no more than 45 minutes and should end in perfect time to make your
final bids on silent auction items.
There are open positions on the board for 2012-2013...please consider
volunteering your time and talents!
We Want to Hear From You!
Click here to download and print our 2012 Spring Season Survey. Fill it out and return it to the box in the concession stand at the DPLL fields.
We hope everyone has had a fun and rewarding season!
We have asked each player to donated one item with a retail value of $40 or higher. It doesn’t matter what the item is, but the higher the retail value, the better. The Silent Auction committee will take all these items and create mini packages for the auction. If you are unable to secure an item, we ask that you kindly donate $20 in cash to DPLL. Please have your items turned into the concession stand on or before FRIDAY, APRIL 27TH or contact Gary Lorfano at 407-694-4700 or via email at glorfano@gmail.com to arrange for a pickup.
In addition, each TEAM is asked to secure four (4) team items for the auction. These can be rounds of golf, community services, park tickets and merchandise.
Also, we need VOLUNTEERS
We have asked for volunteers thru the www.DPLL.org website, so if you’re interested, please sign up for a shift on the website. If you have not served your concession duty, you can volunteer for Friday night or Saturday morning to complete your service to the league.
Thanks for your support in advance and if you have any questions, please contact Gary Lorfano at 407-694-4700 or via email at glorfano@gmail.com

"Thank You" to everyone who generously donated their time, talents, and resources to the Playing With A Purpose For Jorden Aponte events over the past few weeks. Culimating with a very successful silent auction on February 26th, this community came out in force to support DPLL's own Jorden Aponte in his battle with Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor (DSRCT). Joanne, Nelson, and Jorden have been overwhelmed by both the emotional and financial support they have received from DPLL! Thanks to all of you, we well exceeded our goal to raise $40,000 to help the family deal with the staggering expense of fighting this battle. Please continue to keep Jorden, Joanne, and Nelson in your thoughts and prayers as they prepare to head back to MD Anderson in Houston on March 19th to evaluate Jorden's progress and hopefully qualify and clear him for surgery.
You can keep track on the latest on Jorden's Journey at http://japonte1.com.
