Dover Little League’s Financial Status Many may not be aware of the great expense involved running and maintaining a well-tuned Little League program. Last year our expenditures exceeded $143,000. We believe we have the best Little League complex on Delmarva and maybe on the entire East Coast. Our revenues depend entirely on our registration fees, sponsors, fund-raisers, donations, and our concession stand. It is of the utmost importance that you as parents work in the concession stand when it is your teams turn to work. Please coordinate with your team moms. While Dover Little League Inc. is a nonprofit organization, we still have to pay for everything needed to run the League. No officer, director, manager, coach, or umpire receives pay for his or her service. It’s the volunteers that keep our League operating smoothly. Please volunteer your time and energy to make our League better. Please get involved; we can really use your help. But most of all, the boys and girls of our league need you.
