tragedy has fell upon DLL. Glenn Mills, a long time board member and supporter of DLL has past away from a heart attack this weekend. DLL wishes to extend our condolences to the Mills family. Robyn, Daniel, Brian, Michael and the entire Mills family will be in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

August 24, 1962 - October 10, 2009
Glenn Alan Mills of Dover died suddenly Saturday, October 10, 2009 in Kent General Hospital.
Mr. Mills was born August 24, 1962 in Middletown, NY to Richard A. Mills, Sr. and the late Carolyn Tillson Mills. He graduated from Middletown High School, Middletown, NY in 1980. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wilmington University in 1994.
Glenn was a flight engineer for the 326th airlift reserve squadron at Dover Air Force Base. He was activated during Desert Storm from August 1990 until July 1991. He was again activated for Iraqi Freedom from February 2003 until October 2005. He retired as a Master Sgt. in December of 2007.
Mr. Mills currently worked for ECOLAB’s Vehicle Care Division as a territory manager. He coached little league for many years spending the last 5 years on the board of directors at Dover Little League. He was an avid race fan including NASCAR and especially dirt track racing. He loved camping and spent many hours around the campfire.
Glenn is survived by his father, Richard A. Mills, Sr. of Tega Cay, SC; his wife Robin McClain Mills of Dover; three sons, Daniel, Brian, and Michael Mills all of Dover; his brothers, Richard A. Mills, Jr. and his wife Beth of Glastonbury, CT, and Scott R. Mills and his wife Lisa of Bloomingburg, NY; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Louise and Rodney McClain of Dover; his sister-in-law, Kelly Kaiser and her husband Rusty of Dover; and numerous nieces and nephews.

For those who didn't know, our Senior League Softball had to combine with Camden-Wyoming and Marydel to form a Senior League Softball team this year. The team, Buckson Irrigation was made up of all Dover LL girls except for one player. Our girls had a record of 11 wins and 4 losses and earned a playoff spot. The playoff will be held at Camden-Wyoming LL on July 7. Be sure to come out and support our girls during the playoffs.

FALL BALL REGISTRATION DATES
Baseball and Softball
Registration for FALL BALL will be held on July 28, 2009, 6:00pm to 8:00pm and August 1 from 10:00am to noon (Aug 1 will be LAST registration date). Registration will be held at Dover Little League Complex.
Fall Ball is open to players ages 6-16. A birth certificate is required for all players except for current players from DLL. Cost is $50.00.
The season starts on August 31 and runs thru October 15. Games will be played Monday thru Thursday. Friday will be used for make-up games with no games on the weekends.

The objective of the Dover Little League is to implant firmly in the boys and girls of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and reverence, so that they may be finer, stronger, and happier boys and girls and will grow to be good, clean, and healthy men and women. We will provide a program to all the boys and girls regardless of race, ethnicity, or creed that is competitive and educational in both baseball and softball. The objective will be achieved by providing supervised and structured games. The winning of a game is secondary to the primary objective of molding our future men and women.
