Jerome High School Swimming and Diving: Team News

Hattie Lamping will be signing her letter of intent to San Diego on Wednesday, November 11th in the Guidance classroom at 2:30pm. We would like all Jerome Swimming and Diving Team members to attend this very exciting event to show support to their fellow teammate Hattie Lamping.

• Picture day will be November 9th at the rec center.  Please be ready by 3pm.  
  

• Parent of athlete meeting at Jerome is November 16th in the CPA at 7pm
  

• Tanya Irelan will be at the first practice to collect any forms, booster fee and pay-to-play that has not been turn it.  Remember all forms must be turn in in order for the the athlete to participate in the first practice.  
  

• Our Silent auction is December 12 during the meet.   Please contact Tanya Irelan at tirelan@columbus.rr.com, to help with this new and exciting fundraiser or to turn in your items.   
  

• Did you know that the Booster Club spends approximately $200 per athlete during the  swim and dive season?   Some of the things that includes are t-shirt for each, accommodations at travel meets, swimmer and senior gifts, the banquet, several team socials and much much more.   The $50 booster fee is just a small part and that is why we need the fee from everyone and their help with the fundraisers.
  

• We are going to try again this Friday to sell Krispy Kreme Donuts.  I have five adults  ( 2-Minns, 2- Ireland 1- Seballos) signed up, so I need 5 more plus athletes.   Also we are selling them again October 30th,  for that date I need  6 adults plus athletes.  Please contact Patti Dmytryk at phdmytryk@earthlink.net to sign up.  
  

• November 1st we have the concession stand at Jerome.  There are 3-four hour shifts starting at 10am.  We need people all day long.  Please contact Patti Dmytryk at phdmytryk@earthlink.net to sign up.  
  

• We now have  been asked to help the concession stand at Coffman for the State Marching Band competition on:
  

• Attached is a copy of the flyer for the fundraiser at City Barbeque on November 18.   CBQ will donate 25% of your purchase providing you bring this flyer with you.  This is good all day long and includes carry out.  Please pass the flyer out to friends and family!
  

• Our next booster meeting in November 4th in the Jerome library at 7:30
  

Because the weather forecast is now for rain all day with no break is site I cancelled the donuts for today.  
We will try again next week.  Thank you to the volunteers and I can still use you next week!

• If you have not turned in your athlete’s forms, play to play and/ or booster fees you can do so at this meeting.  You can also turn in silent auction items to Tanya irelan at this meeting.
  

• Seven swim families have stepped up to sell donuts Friday, October 9, but we could use 3 more swimmers or divers. We still need 6 adults and  6 athletes  for Oct 16th and 8  of each for October 30th.
  

• We  need 8 people  for each shift on Nov 1st for the Jerome concessions.  Shifts are 10am-1pm, 1pm-4pm and 4pm – 8pm.  Students that are 16 and over are welcome to help.  The concessions are a great way to meet other parents and support your kids activities.
