GRAINGER COUNTY SENIOR LEAGUE GIRLS

| I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU FOR ALL THE SUPPORT GIVING TO THE GRAINGER COUNTY SENIOR LEAGUE GIRLS.THEY HAD OVER 50 FANS THAT WENT WITH THEM TO LADY SMITH VIRGINIA AND WATCHED EVERYGAME AND WITH EVERY SCORE THEY MADE THE FANS WERE SINGING ROCKY TOP..WE EVEN HAD TEAMS THAT WERE ALREADY ELIMANTED BUT STILL STAYED TO RALLY OUR TEAM..THEY EVEN LEARNED ROCKY TOP AND WERE SINGING IT WITH OUR FANS..IT WAS AMAZING!!!WE PLACED 3RD IN THE REGION AND IM SO PROUD!!MY GIRLS PLAYED WITH EVERYTHING THEY HAD AND NEVER GAVE UP..I WANT TO SAY THAT I LOVE YOU GIRLS AND IM SO VERY PROUD OF EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU..THANKS TO EVERY PLAYER,PARENTS,FANS,OUR COUNTY,UMPIRES AND TO VIRGINIA FOR MAKING US FEEL WELCOME!!..THANKS AND GOD BLESS YOU..GRAINGER COUNTY COACHES HEATHER SCEARCE AND JIMMY FRYE |

| I want to say a big congratulations to the Grainger Co Senior League Girls Softball team for their impressive showing in the Regionals at Ladysmith VA this past weekend. Though they fell short of the championship, they are to be commended on their hard work and dedication that placed them in the top 4 in the region. Way to Go Grainger Co!! |

| I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THIS TIME AND SAY THANK YOU TO ALL THAT HAS SUPPORTED OUR GIRLS.THEY HAVE WORKED VERY HARD FOR WHAT THEY HAVE ACCOMPLISHED.THEY WON OUR DISTRICT AND WON OUR STATE ALSO..THEY WILL BE TRAVLING TO LADY SMITH VIRGINIA AUG 1,2 AND 3RD AND I THINK THEY WILL REPRESENT TENNESSEE THE BEST THEY CAN.I ASK THAT YOU KEEP US IN YOUR PRAYERS FOR A SAFE TRIP THERE.I ALSO WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU FOR THE KIND COMMENTS THAT PEOPLE HAVE LEFT.AGAIN,THANKS AND GOD BLESS YOU!! I just wanted to say THANK YOU to the site administrator for keeping this site updated even for the State Brackets. Unfortuately my team did not make it to STATE this year, but I am still wanting to know the results of how our District boys are doing.

I wanted to take the time to say congratulations to the Harrogate 11-12 year old girls softball team for being runner-up again this year. These young ladies are excellent ballplayers but more importantly they are excellent young ladies. from the word go, these ladies practiced and played their hearts out, but in the end I believe tiredness got the better of them and when you play a team like Maryville, you definitely dont need to be tired!! Not taking anything away from our district champs, I believe Harrogate had the most fundamentally sound team its had in years, both offensively and defensively. When they clicked, nobody could beat them in a fair fought game(ask Eagleton, Lafollette and Bean Station).
So heres to you girls: Katelyn, Emily, Lindsey, Miranda, Machaela, Mckenzie, Julia, Chelsey, Genna, Jourdan, Allison and Cheyenne the 2009 Runner-ups!! We are proud of you!! |

| I agree joshua9...not only should Grainger Co little league help but District 6 as well. After all, they represent our district also. How about it Mr. Foy? Can District 6 help in sending these young ladies to Va? |

| congraulations to the senior softball team of grainger county for winning the state tournament. i feel that grainger county little league should get behind them and help them get to ladysmith virgina. it's going to cost a lot of money for all the team and parents to get there and stay there. i feel everybody should try and donate a little money to help them. if everybody in grainger county would just donate a dollar that would be great i'm willing what about the rest of you they deserve the help come on grainger county get behind your state champions. thank you |

I watched you play when you played Harrogate and I was thoroughly impressed with not only your level of play, but with your sportsmanship and genuine nice personalities. The coaching staff is to be commended. Go girls, and represent our district and state in the regionals well. We are proud of you!! |
