 Dear Booster Club Member,

The Dearborn High Booster Club will once again host our annual golf outing – The Pioneer Open on Sunday May 3, 2009 at Dearborn Hills Golf Course. Please consider participating in this event. It is the Booster Club’s largest fundraiser. The proceeds from this golf outing allow us to provide all the “extras” for our DHS athletes. The DHS Adult Athletic Booster Club sponsors projects that benefit over 500 Dearborn High School student athletes, comprising of 24 sports and 41 teams per year.

We are asking for your support to help us continue the athletic traditions at Dearborn High School. These traditions and participation in a quality athletic program are a key part of many students overall successes in life. During these challenging economic times, it has become increasing difficult for school districts to provide more than the basics for a well-rounded athletic program. Interscholastic competition and the treasures it provides require a tremendous amount of commitment and resources.

This year, we will be changing our starting times to better our golfing experience. We will again be sponsoring a silent auction in conjunction with the outing. If you are not a golfer, plan on attending dinner and the auction. Consider sponsoring a hole at the outing or donating a door prize. Also, if you would like to work at the outing or help with the auction-please give us a call. This is a fun-filled event.
