The Warriors Travel Softball Program to Reunite with the DYBA Deerfield DynamiteTravel Softball Program
The Warriors Travel Softball Program will be reuniting with DYBA and the Deerfield Dynamite effective in September of 2008. The Warriors will be coming back into DYBA after a 6 year hiatus. Not only will the Warriors be bringing loads of talented softball players, but they will also be bringing high quality coaches including Deerfield High School Varsity Softball coach Sue Johnson and many enthusiastic volunteers.
During the 2009 season, the administration of the two programs will merge to form one softball program while the teams still play independently. For 2009, including both programs, DYBA will be fielding three teams at each of the 10U and 12U levels, two teams at the 14U level and one team at the 16U level. So look out in 2010 when the teams merge and are expected to form one of the elite programs on the North Shore.
Many thanks should be extended to Sue Johnson, Dave Brenner, Justin Joseph, Jim Santos, Beth Sciarretta, Hal Schwartz and Scott Mercola for working together to make this happen.
