I.M.P.A.C.T. Testing (Immediate Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing)
The DVHL in coordination with USA Hockey wants everyone involved in concussion education and provides an online course. The Delaware Ducks recommends all Players and Parents take the online course in concussion recognition and concussion management. For Players/Parents, concussion recognition is a key component to the health of your child. Go to: www.nfhslearn.com. It takes about 25 minutes, asks you some questions, and then provides you with a certificate that you’ve taken the course. There is no charge for the on-line course and after completion; your name is added to a list (by state) that you’ve taken the on-line course. This does not replace a players I.M.P.A.C.T. testing; this is a tool to recognize a concussion.
