PONY Baseball is designed to "Protect Our Nation's Youth" by providing experiences in youth baseball that will help young people grow into healthier and happier adults. Diamond Starz Baseball & Softball Academy
Diamond Starz Baseball and Softball Academy is a new 11,000 sq ft indoor training facility located on Hwy 5 in Douglasville. Diamond Starz offer professional instruction in all skills for baseball and fast pitch softball. They also offers speed and agility training as well as facility rental for teams and individuals including hitting and pitching cage rental. Diamond Starz also emphasizes positive character development for players and coaches thru their affiliation with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Baseball (FCA Baseball) organization. Parents Association for Youth Sports (PAYS)
The Parents Association for Youth Sports is a membership organization for parents promoting positive youth sports. The program also helps parents better understand their roles and responsibilities in supporting the league, the coaches and the children involved in youth sports. DCYBL no longer mandates certification in the PAYS program. However the interactive video training clinic (available online... through this link) is informative and recommended by League officials. DCYBL will continue to require a parent of DCYBL participants to sign a pledge committing to uphold the PAYS Code of Ethics. Douglas County, GA
