The Grandstand has started, but delayes add to cost
Cole Flick DCBA Secty reports that the new grandstand construction is moving along nicely. All the wall have been completed as of Jan 4 2002 and the pre-cast sections should be set in place the weekend of Jan 12. “That’s the good news” states Flick.

The bad news is that this project has had many delays and some additional safety features due to the force main near the back wall, has ran into some cost over runs.
The original budget was around $90,000.00 right now we are looking at a final cost of about $120,000.00. The DCBA is looking at different grants and fund raising ideas, but really needs the help of all the former players. For more information please contact the DCBA at thedcba@hotmail.com.


NEW GRANDSTAND AT SAINTS FIELD
The DCBA will begin construction of a new 350 seat covered grandstand at Saints field in the spring of 2001.

This Grandstand is a joint effort between the DCBA, The City of Dassel and Residents of Dassel & Cokato.
This Grandstand is part of over $200,000.00 worth of improvements that have been or are being made at the Dassel ball park. Please voice your support of the efforts of the DCBA, to the City of Dassel.
