Chloe finished 7th in division 2 in the triple jump with a leap of 35' 10-1/2"
Leanne finished 9th in division 2 in the 400m

CIF PRELIMS! 3 qualify for Finals

Cypress CIF qualifiers brought their "A" game today with 6 PR's and 3 athletes moving on to the CIF Divisional Championships!
Chelsea ran a personal best 57.27 in the 400, qualifying 6th for the Div 2 Finals next week
Leanne also ran a personal best 58.22 in the 400, qualifying 9th for the Div 2 Finals next week
Chelsea also PR'd in the 200 with a 25.93 placing 14th and Kayla ran her season's fastest 200 at 26.25, placing 18th
The 4x100 relay team of Leanne, Chelsea, Jamie & Kayla ran a season's fastest 49.36 placing 11th and just missing the Finals by 0.16 seconds!
Chloe may not have PR'd, but DID qualify 4th in the Triple Jump Championships next week with a jump of 36-1-1/2
Alex, our lone male CIF entry, ran his own PR in the 400m at 50.72

Kayla Shaw- 100m League Champion - 13.07
Chelsea Hairanian- 200m League Champion - 26.09 & 400m League Champion - 57.94
Jessica Iribe - 3200m League Champion - 12:01.05
Mei-Li Smith - High Jump League Champion - 5'-02"
Chloe Soremukun - Long Jump League Champion - 16'-09" & Triple Jump League Champion - 36'-6.75"
Girls 4x100 Relay League Champions (Leanne Allen, Chelsea Hairanian, Jamie Noble, Kayla Shaw) 49.76
Girls 4x400 Relay League Champions (Leanne Allen, Chelsea Hairanian, Jamie Noble, Kayla Shaw) 4:14.65
Alex Hardlund was the lone Varsity Male League Champion for Cypress 400m League Champion - 51.32
On the Frosh/Soph Level we had two league champions - Sumi Kime 1600m Champ 5:36.25 and Garret Latiolait Pole Vault Champ 9'-0"
Chelsea Hairanian was named LEAGUE MVP with her 4 Gold medal day (200m, 400m, 4x1, 4x4)

SENIORS LAST HOME MEEET!
In the last home meet of the 2011 season, the following Seniors came ready to run, jump & throw! Varsity Girls prevailed over visiting Pacifica, while the boys were dominated by a strong Mariner team. Pictures are ready! Congrats Seniors!

Fast 400m times posted @ the Trabuco Hills Invite
Alex Hardlund & Chelsea Hairanian put up Personal Records in the 400m today at the Trabuco Hills Invitational. Alex ran 51.42, while Chelsea's mark of 58.48 places her 4th in the ALL-TIME Cypress High School Girls Track & Field History!
