The rocket pictured was built by Al Adastik, WWII veteran. He graciously leant us the rocket for our Pack's float for the Grand Rapids Veterans Day parade in 2003. Our scouts also created thank you cards to our veterans, to be passed out along the parade route, thanking them for their service to our country. We've done the latter for several years now.
