The Role of The Parent
" Parents must take the initiative to make a local program successful. Little League is not a club in which membership implies baby-sitting benefits and entertainment privileges.
Practically speaking, Little League is an adult, volunteer work project constructed, supervised and assisted by parents who want to extend this benefit to their children. The parent who shrinks this responsibility cannot, in turn, expect others to assume the burden. Little League developed the Parent Orientation Program to help parents and volunteers better understand the rules and ideas of Little League."

Quoted from: Little League Official Regulations and Playing Rules
Help is needed in all areas including: Concessions, Team Parent,Umpires, Field Maintenance, Coach, Assis. Coach, Score keeper, Fundraiser Committee, etc.
Click on the "Parent Orientation Program" link below to find out more info on being a volunteer, or contact a league representative. (contact info. can be found under the "Board" tab in the menu)
