CREST CHARGERS: Welcome
Monday, July 25We've Moved! Starting 9/8/09 the new hompeage for Crest Chargers Football will be:
Welcome to our "unofficial" Crest Charger High School Football site home of the'94 & '96 4A State Champions, '03 & '04 3AA STATE CHAMPIONS,'01 3AA State Runner-Up Champions and '01,'03 & '04 3AA Western Division Champs. We started this site on 09/11/2002 to honor our current team as well as our past teams that are part of the Charger Tradition. With a lot of help from some Charger Fans this site has grown to be something our Volunteer Staff hopes our Team and Fans can be proud of. We hope you will enjoy your visit and share with us your favorite moments in Crest Charger history by visiting our guestbook or becoming a member of our message board.
Because of space limits on the welcome page you may notice some headlines underlined, just double click the link. Even clicking on some of the pictures will take you to another page.On dialup ISP service you may notice some pages load slow because we are putting a lot of photo's and logo's on the pages. The site is very fast on cable or T1 connection.
We also added a few of our favorite links to local or state sites. These will help you find information out about the Crest Chargers and other North Carolina High School Football Teams. We hope with these aids you will visit our site often if not daily to see what is happening in HS Football around our area.
Visit the radio station link if you can't be at the game. We did this for the college students that still have that Charger Spirit.

Crest has started the 2008 season with a bang going 2-0 against county rival Burns and fellow 4A member Freedom. Junior QB Reggie Wilkins has led the early season charge rushing for 266 yards and 3 scores. The big story this season though has been the defense. Led by Jr. CB Aldrick Watson(2 fumble recoveries and 2 interceptions), Soph CB Justin Price (2 interceptions), Sr. LB Levon Brooks, Sr. DE Josh McDowell, Jr. DE Kwame Petty and Freshman FS Rhaheim Ledbetter the defense has absolutely dominated both early season foes.
Be sure to check back next week as the Chargers travel to square off with cross town rival Shelby. Game time is 7:30.

With the new movie called "Radio" out this article needs to be reviewed>
By JAMES WALKER - Thursday quarterback
In an age when arrogance and "Sharpie" pens steal the national spotlight, it is often the smallest, most unnoticed acts of kindness that remind us that football is merely a game.
The story, which is destined to become legendary in Southern Ohio circles, starts in Waverly.
