Welcome to the Creekview High School Cheer Website!
CREEKVIEW CHEERS FOR A CURE! Members of the three CHS cheerleading squads, along with members of their families, attended this year's "Race for the Cure" hosted by the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The Creekview cheerleaders have been raising funds, and hopefully awareness, for this cause which is so very close to our hearts.
As young women, and leaders in the community, the Creekview cheerleaders feel this is a cause we should fight for. Our hope is to continue to "cheer" for this cause - and cheer for a cure until a cure is found. As you can see, several of our cheerleaders and their families came out for the race very early in the morning on October 17, 2009 to walk this 5K and do their part to show support for those who have survived this terrible disease and try to do our part to help irradicate it. Next time you see a Creekview cheerleader with bucket that says "Cheer for the Cure" won't you please help us in our continued fight? Not for us but for your Mother, Sister, Wife, Daughter, Niece, etc. Please help us "Cheer for the Cure."
Thank you! ----------------------------------------------------- Please stop by and check out the website often. We try to keep it as up to date as possible so you will always know what is going on. We look forward to what promises to be a wonderful year at Creekview cheer. Go Mustangs!
----------------------------------------------------- Please make sure you check the "News" and "Calendar" sections often for any changes or additions. All dates and events are subject to change and your cheerleader is required to know these changes and be at the right place at the right time. That is why it is very important to check back often. Also, make sure to check the "Handouts" page for important paperwork. Go Mustangs!
We Continue to "Cheer for the Cure"
As most of you are aware, the Creekview Cheerleader’s charity event of the year has been to raise money in support of the SUSAN G. KOMEN RACE FOR THE CURE. The actual event (race/walk) took place in Dallas at North Park Center on Saturday, October 17th. Although the 5K for this year is done, OUR RACE continues. It is not too late to donate to this cause! You can still make a donation by going to: www.komen-dallas.org/goto/CreekviewCheer. Once there, you simply chose which cheerleader or other team member you would like to make a donation on behalf of and click their name. There are instructions for how to make an online donation. Donations will continue to be accepted until November 13, 2009. Of course, no donation is too small, but if you are unable to make a donation this year, please keep us in mind at the beginning of the next school year because we will be asking for your help again next year and for many years to come. Should you have any questions, feel free to contact your cheerleader, one of the cheer coaches, or our team leader, Mary Ann Willis. Thank you for your support.
Spirit Theme - Outsmart Skyline
This week's spirit theme is "Outsmart Skyline!" Don't forget your pocket protectors, your suspenders, your white socks, and your loafers. Slick that hair back and represent your nerd side while you show your Mustang Pride. We hope to see you in all your nerd glory.
