Welcome to Leah James' (AKA. Crazy Runner For A Good Causes' website.) In about three months I will be doing what most think is insane, crazy, undoable, and (your own description here.)
I have two reasons on why I am running this year.
1) People can never give to much to a great cause. Not only does the L&L society find cures for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkins and myeloma but new research has shown a potential cure for other cancers.
2) A personal goal. About three years ago I trained for the marathon; I was up to 15 miles and ended up not completing my training and was unable to run. I promised myself that I would finish one marathon. This year is my chance.
I appreciate your support. If you know someone that has Leukemia or Lymphoma and you would like me to honor them in the race, please do not hesitate to email me. It would be my pleasure to run in there honor.
