Winter Programs 

Wrestling:  Signups are Tuesday, 10/21 from 6-8pm and Thursday, 10/23 from 6-8pm at the Cranford Recreation Center.

Basketball:  PAL Basketball Tryouts will be held at Orange Avenue School.  The tryout schedule is as follows: 

• 4th Grade Boys 10/15 6:15-7:15pm, 10/20 6:30-7:30pm
• 5th Grade Boys 10/16 6:15-7:15pm, 10/23 6:15-7:15pm
• 6th Grade Boys 10/15 8:45-9:45pm, 10/20 8-9pm
• 7th Grade Boys 10/23 8:45-9:45pm, 10/29 8-9pm
• 8th Grade Boys 10/14 8:30-9:30pm, 10/21 8:30-9:30pm
• 5th Grade Girls 10/15 7:30-8:30pm, 10/22 6:15-7:15pm
• 6th Grade Girls 10/16 7:30-8:30pm, 10/22 7:30-8:30pm
• 7th Grade Girls 10/23 7:30-8:30pm, 10/29 6:30-7:30pm

Cranford Field of Dreams Day a Success!!!! 

A fun filled day for Cranford Children with Special Needs was held on Saturday, June 7th.  Much appreciation to all the participants and volunteers who endured the heat.  Special thanks to Ray Duffy for photographing the event.  Attached is a link to Ray's site.  A portion of the sale proceeds of photographs purchased from the Field of Dreams Day will be dontaed back to the Cranford PAL.  The password to view the photos is PAL.

PAL Programs 

The Cranford P.A.L, established in 1981, continues to provide positive activities for children. The P.A.L. sponsors the following activities: Basketball-Girls (4th – 8th grade), Basketball-Boys (4th – 8th grade), Cheerleading (3rd – 8th grade), Field Hockey (4th – 6th grade), Flag Football (1st – 2nd grade), Football (3rd – 8th grade), Track and Field (1st – 8th grade), Volleyball-Girls (4th - 8th grade), Wrestling (K – 8th grade), Flag Rugby (age 5 - 13 years old) and Fencing (ages 7-14). 

The strength of the P.A.L. is the dedication and tenacity of the volunteers who give selflessly to the children, working to make difference in their lives. The considerable financial and administrative support that volunteers, parents and coaches give to youth sports is generated in part by the conviction that athletic participation instills certain desirable educational, social, and personal values.
