24)---24 then becomes Illinois 29 which goes north to Chillicothe--at the south edge of Chillicothe, one of the first stoplights has a McDonald's--that is Cloverdale Street---turn left at the stoplight onto Cloverdale, go to the first stop sign which is at Bradley Street--take a right on Bradley--proceed a short distance--the athletic complex is noticeable and on your left--turn left into the area where there are a number of athletic fields--all this is just before you reach the campus of IVC High School.

Go through Eureka and turn left at W Center/US-24
Go about 7 miles and Turn right at N Main St. Continue on Main St towards Metamora - Main St becomes Douglas Rd as you reach Metamora.
On Douglas, you will cross Rt 116, you will see the Flame Restaurant on the corner. As you pass over 116, the Metamora Park Pool will be on the right hand side at the intersection of Douglas and Progress.
Turn Left on Progress, you will pass a cemetery on the right.
At the stop sign, Turn Right on Coal Bank Road.
The park is on the left about 1 mile down. Coal Bank is the worst road in Woodford County..it is all torn up so caution to go slow.

Olympia High School - you can either take I55 or Route 9. Following are the directions for both:
I-55 Directions:
Take I-55 South to the Shirley exit #154.
At ramp stop sign, turn right.
At next stop sign (Road 1075E/US Route 66) turn left.
At Shirley sign (Road 850N), turn right. Go over bridge, stay on 850N approximately 6 miles.
At next stop sign (Road 500E, T-road) turn left.
Take first road to the right (Road 800N, McLean County 34).
Olympia High School is approximately 4 miles west on the left.
Route 9 Directions:
Take Route 9 west. Continue straight, road becomes Route 122 (don't turn toward Danvers and follow Route 9). At curve, follow the curve, don't go straight.
Continue on Route 122 until you reach the Stanford road.
Turn left into Stanford. Go through Stanford and on about 4 miles to a stop sign at a T road.
Turn right (west) and continue until you reach the school on your left. Look for the blue water tower.

I-74 Directions:
Take I-74 toward Peoria
Take exit 101 for I-155 toward Lincoln
Keep right to continue toward I-155 S and merge onto I-155 S
Take exit 28 for Broadway Rd
Turn right off the exit at Broadway Rd
Go about 7 miles and turn left at S. Pkwy Dr
There will be an entrance to the Coal Miners park on your left
Route 9 Directions:
Take IL-9 West
Turn right at N 475 E Rd/IL-9
Continue on IL-9 (Route 9) all the way to Pekin (about 24 miles)
Once you get to Pekin, go past the mall, there will be a Country Market on the right.
Turn right at S. Pkwy Dr.
There will be an entrance to Coal Miners park on your right.
