The Raiders have two 18U teams in 2009 - Blue and Gold. This is the Blue team's web site. Please also visit the 18U Raiders Gold and Joint 18U Raiders Blue and Gold Teams web sites.

The 18U Blue team is coached by Tara Petrocelli with assistant coaches Jackie Coffee, Meghan Lemire and Stephanie Mayne and competes in some of the finest fastpitch softball tournaments in the nation. Please bookmark this page and check back often for updates. The Raiders Blue team's season runs from early June to early August.

Plainville Athletic League Complex (PAL) - 93 George St., Plainville, MA

• Take Rt. 95 South to Rt. 495 North
• Take Exit 14 off Rt. 495 to Rt. 1 South
• Go about a mile south on Rt. 1 until you see a Dunkin Donuts on your right.  Turn right on George St. just BEFORE the Dunkin Donuts.
• Go down George St. and the fields are on your right.

Field of Dreams (FOD) - 124 School St., Plainville, MA

• Same as above directions to Plainville Main Fields until you turn onto George St.
• Turn onto George St. and instead of going straight to the main fields, turn left onto School St.
• Go about 1/4 of a mile down School St. and the Field of Dreams complex is on your right.

Pisani and Gilpatrick Fields (Sweatt) - Our understanding is that both of these fields are at the Sweatt Fields at 100 Randall St., Wrentham, MA.  See the tournament web site for directions to Sweatt to/from PAL, etc. - http://www.nefinestshowcase.com/Hotels_Directions.html.

Although we have not confirmed with the team, according to the Pennsylvania ASA web page, the Raiders 18U Blue team lost their game against the Central PA Eagles.  This drops the Raiders into the Loser Bracket.  Again according to the bracket, it shows that the Raiders will be playing the Jersey Inferno at 8AM Sunday morning.  More details will be provided as they emerge.....

The Raiders 18U Blue team began their journey in the championship round of the ASA Eastern Nationals Tournament with a win over the Pennsylvania Alleycats 3-0.  Next up according to the Elimination Bracket that was posted by the Pennsylvania ASA would be the PA Eagles. Good Luck to the Raiders.......

The Raiders 18U Blue team was prepared to enter championship round play this afternoon when all games were postponed due to heavy rains in the York Pennslvania area prior to game time.  A coaches meeting has been set for 9AM tomorrow morning to reset all schedules which will allow tournament play to resume beginning at 10AM at the Bob Hoffman Softball Complex.  As more details emerge this page will be updated.

The playoff brackets are available on this web page - http://www.paasa.org/Tourney_Pages/enc.htm.  Click on the "DE Bracket" link on the far right of the 18U ASA Championship Tournament row.  Although it doesn't appear they've updated the game times yet in the brackets (as of 11am Saturday).

In the above bracket, the Raiders Blue team first playoff game is against the Alley Cats West in game #13 on H2.

Here is our initial schedule for Pool Play on Thursday and Friday.  First Game is versus the Harleysville Thunderbirds.  Friday will be at 11AM, but field will depend on winning or losing first game.  If win, then we would be at the Hoffman complex field H5, otherwise it would be at Sertoma field.

Coach Tara said on Thursday, July 23 - "We will be leaving on Wednesday, by 1:00.  Our meeting place has not yet been determined.  We will have practice on Tuesday, July 28th at 6:00.  Please be there at 5:30, as our scrimmage will begin at 6:00.  Please wear navy blue tshirts...NOT GAME SHIRTS....I will have limited access to email this weekend if you have any questions, please call my cell... "
