Welcome to the 2009/2010  U-12 Concord Raiders team web site. Please bookmark this page so that you can check back frequently for the latest news, schedules and calendar updates.   The Raiders' season runs from early May through the end of July, and we participate in PONY, NSA and ASA tournaments.

The weather was perfect as all the Concord Raider teams gathered on October 17, 2009 for a Fall Adventure. The night focused on team building and team work. A team vs. team exercise took place at Whittier Tech Vocational School and then the fun moved onto a 9 acre corn maze at a local farm. Joined by Coach April and Asst. Coach Kim, the U12 team successfully navigated the maze in just an -hour! Great job ladies.

The Concord Raiders U12 softball team will participate in 10 tournaments during the 2009 season, hoping to build on the success it realized last year in an important turnaround for the program.

The Raiders, who finished with a 27-21 record in 2008, will be involved in four PONY tournaments, four ASA events, and two NSA tourneys.  Their season begins in early May and runs through the end of July.

The Concord-based team opens play at the Bandit Bash, a PONY tournament in Chelmsford, May 8-10.  The following week, May 15-17, the Raiders head up the road to Burlington for the Mass Mayhem event, also a PONY-sanctioned tournament.  After a weekend off, the Raiders host their own PONY national qualifier, the Patriot Tournament, May 29-31.  Games will be held in Concord and Acton.

In June, the Raiders head to Methuen for the Start of Summer Showdown tournament, an ASA event, June 5-7.  The following weekend, June 12-14, Concord travels south of the border to Providence, RI, for the Lightning Strikes tournament.  The annual NSA Father's Day Bash is June 19-21 in Leominster.  The month concludes with the ASA State Championships, also in Leominster, June 26-28.

After a weekend off to celebrate Independence Day, the Raiders return to action July 10-12 at the NSA State Championships in Lowell.  Concord heads north of the border, July 17-19, for the Beverly Borelli Memorial Tournament in Salem, NH, an ASA event.  The season concludes with the Ocean State Invitational in Warwick, RI, July 24-26.
