Evaluations for UWHL Flames Fall Season 2011-2012

Ladies,
The Concord Flames will hold evaluations for the fall season on June 1 at 6:15-7:15 and at 7:30 to 8:30. Details regarding which slots are for which level will be determined later based upon expected turn-out.
Cost to cover the ice will be $20 per slot if you RSVP or $25 per slot at the door.
To better allow us to prepare for the UWHL meeting in mid-June, a $50 non-refundable deposit will be accepted as the first payment for Fall dues. The number of teams we place in the UWHL and the level of those teams will be based on the players paying the $50 deposit. You may still skate for $20 (or $25) without paying a deposit.
Those players paying the $50 non-refundable deposit who are eligible for a UWHL team will be saved a roster spot, as decided by the coaches/evaluators. Additional roster spots will be filled later in the summer/early fall, as availability allows.You must have a current USA Hockey registration number to participate in evaluations.
Please RSVP to Donna Helgenberg and Karen Shull by May 25. Indicate your preferred level of play (Silver (C+), Blue (C), White (C/D), Red (D), In-House (rec)), if you will be paying the deposit, and if you are a goalie. If you cannot make June 1, but want to play with us in the Fall, please still contact us by May 25 and place a deposit. Evaluations will be held at a later date for non-UWHL/upper level teams (A and B level).

Tournament - Independence Cup Classic
The Independence Cup Classic will be held at Ice Line the weekend of June 3. The tournament organizers are hoping for 4 women's teams. So far they only have 1. Cost is $1400 per team with a 3-game gaurnatee, beer/wine/coolers after every game, Sat. afternoon BBQ, and tee-shirt. There is no age restriction and the level is open (anyone can play).
A portion of the proceeds go to charity. The tournament directors are also encouraging teams to name a charity and raise money, either a flat contribution or a pledges for goals scored, gmaes won, beers drunk, etc. Last year this tournament raised $2000 for the Special Olympics of Chester County. Sep 15th at 8:15 PM, Rink 4, A and Blue Teams
Next Try-outs/ Evaluations September 1st!
We have our second Evaluation / Try-out date scheduled for Wednesday, 9/1/10. There will be two group sessions.
Group 1 at 6:45 - 8:00pm
Group 2 at 8:15 - 9:30pm.
Group assignment to be announced. These evaluations are for all teams except the A level team.
The A level team will have a separate try-out date. If you are interested in trying out for A, please contact Donna Helgenberg and she will give you the needed information.
All participants must be registered with USA Hockey before stepping on the ice for Evaluations. Please go to http://www.usahockeyregistration.com/ and click the "Ice Players and Coaches" tab. Follow the prompts until you reach the final stage of registration. The cost is $40. It includes your USA Hockey insurance and participation fee. When you get to the confirmation page, please send a copy to Karen Lubberman who will be collecting and tracking all information.
Try-outs/Evaluations on 28 Jul 2010!

Please have a check already made out to the Concord Flames or have your $10(cash) in an envelope. These evaluations are for all teams except the A level team.

The fee for players playing in games for teams that they are not on the regular roster for will be charged $20 for that game.
