WELCOME TO WERE CHAMPIONS ARE MADE

    Thank you for visiting Comets Track Club website.   Our organization is dedicated to the development of youth athletes in track and field.  Kids from ages 6 to 18 compete in both AAU and USATF sanctioned meets.  Our program is designed for kids who love the sport, and want to participate (year- round) continuously.  Nonetheless, we welcome recreational athletes for our summer program. At Comets Track Club, we believe that champions are made and not naturally predisposed.      

At Comets Track Club, we have a year round program that runs from September 1st to August 31st.  Anyone can join at any time; however, the athletes have to be performing at a certain level before they are allowed participate in certain track meets.  This program is an intense training program that is designed for serious athletes.    

We also have summer track program. This program was design to introduce new comers to the sport.   For the summer, we have an AAU program that all athletes can participate in.  The cost for the summer program is $144.00, which include the costs for uniform, AAU membership, and administrative fee.  The cost for track meets will be on a “pay as you go” system.  This means that the athletes only pay for the meets that they will participate in. We recommend athletes who have no prior running experience to start here.    

 We are currently looking for a few boys and girls with the right attitude to train for next season starting September 1st.  They don’t have to be the fastest nor the strongest.  However, with right mind-set, hard work, and dedication, they can become one of the fastest and strongest runner, jumper, or thrower.    

Our Objectives and Purposes     

·         Have each and every child performing to his/her potential  

·         Educate the athletes of proper running techniques and forms    

·         Educate the athletes on nutrition   

·         Built self-confidence and determinations
