| there is not fee for the Pitch hit and run but a copy of the kids birth certificate is required the competition is for boys and girls ages 7-14 and is going to be at the Little League Field in Wharton |

Go Columbus Little League! Baseball has such great memories. One of my best players was a 12 year old pitcher I had back in the 1980's who would take a miniature 'GI Joe' action figure to the mound and place it next to his feet when he pitched (for good luck I suppose--we did win a title that year). But the weird part is that the other teams just laughed. Nobody ever complained about the toy.
