2005-06 Columbus 95 Blue Jackets
Welcome to the web site for the 2005-2006 Columbus 95 Blue Jackets. The Columbus 95 Blue Jackets are a Tier II Squirt AA Major team based out of Columbus, Ohio. The Columbus 95s are playing an independent schedule in 2005-06 to tailor the season to the talent level of the team. The majority of the season has been scheduled against Tier I teams from various leagues as well as games in Detroit and Toledo against Little Caesar's Ranked Division teams. The goal continues to be to seek out the highest levels of competition offered in the United States and Canada so as to develop the players and the team.

Jackets Squirt AA Silver Stick Finalists -- Fall to strong Northbrook Blackhawks 4-1
Jackets Champions in Thanksgiving Tournament -- 5-4 in 14 player shootout
In an exciting finish, the C95BJs won in a 14 player shootout in overtime against the Kensington Valley Renegades. Knotted at 2-2 the teams went directly to a shootout. After 5 shooters each, the score was still tied -- thus going to a sudden death shootout. Henry stood tall, Will, Justin and JT buried some shots and the crowd cheered on both teams. In the end, the Jackets ended up on top, 5-4. Thanks to CCYHA for a great tournament and to Kensington Valley for two outstanding games.
