Colorado Wolfpack - Girls Basketball: Welcome
Welcome to the home of the Colorado Wolfpack 2013. Our 9th and final season.
The Colorado Wolfpack was founded in 2003 from the 2nd grade girls recreation basketball leagues in Castle Rock, CO. Castle Rock is located 30 miles south of Denver and all of our players live in Douglas County.
The Wolfpack are all girls that are graduating High School in 2014. They have averaged 70 games per year since 2006 and will play in a multitude of events in 2012 including the Miss Basketball Showcases ( Minnesota and Dakota ), the AAU West Coast Nationals in Las Vegas, Triple Crown events in Greeley, and other tournaments throught the Midwest.
The purpose of the club is to give youth in the community an opportunity to play competative basketball. Our goal is to teach players the game the right way, through fundamentals, sportsmanship, and teamwork. The Wolfpack is more than just basketball. We stress the importance of academics and community service. Maintaining both are a minimum criteria for the on-going participation with the Wolfpack. In addition, the girl’s are being taught life lessons about self esteem, team play, competition that are invaluable to their development as young women.
To all the coaches, players, and teams we have met througout the years, a huge thank you for the competition and sportsmanship. We have had a blast and wish everyone the best.
