Clintondale/Fraser Little League: Baseball Hall of Fame

Matthew Willenborg participant in the Clintondale Youth Baseball
program (Little League) since he was in T-ball, was named by the
Macomb Daily sports staff to be honored along with the best high
school football players in Macomb County. Matthew played center
and wore #67 on this years Clintondale Varsity Dragons. The
Dragons finished the season with a 6 and 3 record. Football players
were nominated for the all-star teams by their coaches. Coach panels,
representing all of the schools in the county, selected the
Class A and Class B-C-D teams after the first week of the
state playoffs. At an awards dinner on November 29, 2005, the
All-Macomb County team will be introduced. They comprised
of the best players from the Class A and Class B-C-D teams.
Matthew has graduated from Clintondale High School in 2006 with honors.
He has beeen accepted into the pre-med program at Adrian University.
He will continue to play football with that school.

Clintondale Little League would like to congratulate a former player that was part of a team that won three District 6 Championships with our league.
Kevin Parsons walked on and made the Grand Valley State University football team.

Former Little League Player and Umpire now a teacher
Jason Machalak played with the Clintondale Little League when he was younger. He also was Quarterback with Clintondale High School and played baseball with the Clintondale High School Baseball team. While on the High School teams, the teams went on to be the District Champions in both football and baseball. He has also umpired during his summers with our Clintondale Little League.
Recently Jason has graduated from Ferris State University and will be teaching at the Clintondale Middle School for the 2006-2007 school year. He will also be assisting with the Clintondale High School Football Program.
