Weather Policy:
  1. McGlinnen Diamonds ONLY: with rescheduling games difficult all attempts to play games will be made. If it has rained a good amount of a day you can call (586) 770-8206.
  2. Divisions that play travel games: Boys Juniors/Seniors must still call managers. Girls Softball Minor/Major HOME/AWAY games must still call managers.
  3. Any question on whether your team is playing CALL your manager
  4. Thunder and or lightning situations
    • McGlinnen Diamonds - the umpire or a board member will stop all games if lightning and/or thunder is heard/seen. State safety guidelines suggest a 30 minute restart time after the last sound of thunder to insure storm has left the area. The umpire and the CFLL board will work together to decide on resumption of games or postponement. When a game is stopped because of thunder/lightning - all players, coaches and spectators must evacuate the fields to their vehicles.
    • Travel games at other fields - please follow directions from to the umpires and officials in charge when your child is playing at an away field. The CFLL hopes other leagues follow a similar policy. If you find that the officials at the away venue are not following a safe policy, the manager and coaches for our teams have been instructed to call time to the umpire and state that they are pulling their team from the field and evacuating to their vehicles for safety reasons. The CFLL will report to Little League International that league for putting our children in an unsafe situation.

Bats: Before you buy a bat please make sure its Little League approved. A complete list of legal composite bats is available thru the Little League link under the tab at left. If in doubt after you've purchased a bat DO NOT unwrap. Once unwrapped many stores will not let you return for credit. Bring to Fields and Grounds/safety inspector Rick Yaworski and have it inspected or find out more about the bat rules from Little League by clicking BAT INFO

Girls Softball Schedules:

PLEASE LOOK UNDER THE TABS ON LEFT FOR YOUR SCHEDULE.

Maps and directions to all fields are listed under a field map tab on left. Any questions on where a field might be or time a game is played can be answered by your manager. Please contact them first.

The CFLL is required to conduct mandatory background checks of Managers, Coaches, Board of Director Members and any other persons, volunteers or hired workers, who provide regular service to the league and/or have repetitive access to, or contact with, players or teams. Click on the Volunteer Form tab for a copy of the volunteer form that must be completed.
